Live @ WAYO seeks to bring local Rochester and touring bands in to the WAYO studios for live, on-air performances and interviews with a rotating cast of WAYO DJ hosts. The performances are also recorded on video, available on the WAYO YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/@wayoradio.

The Living Room features Eric Witkowski on guitar and vocals, Amber Tracy on vocals, Amber McAlister on saxophone and vocals, Pete Manktelow on guitar, Greg Wilcox on bass and khoomei, and Casey Lynn Learch on the drums. Specializing in the sounds of the Murder Lounge, The Living Room seamlessly blends rock, americana, Rochester rust belt vibes and khoomei (Tuvan-Mongolian Throat Singing) through their diverse and expressive songs.

Described as Warped, wonky and distorted, Mt. Goose features Alex on Bass and Vocals, Sean on Guitar and Vocals and Steven on Drums. Hailing from the epicenter of the exciting RIT punk scene, they combine Eggpunk, Skate Punk and Rochester and are ready to throw down in your basement at any time. Catch them on and off campus and feel the low-fi vibes with their latest release “the demo tapes” on their bandcamp (https://mtgoose.bandcamp.com/).
Comfort Object (@ComfortObject-u5n) rocked a live session at the WAYO studios on 1/12/2025. Joining us again as host is Joey Paladino (Cosmic Debris Mondays at 9am on WAYO).
Annie Wells Trio (@AnnieWellsOfficial) swung by the WAYO studios for a live session on 11/24/2024. Along with Matty SK (The Nightcap Sundays 10pm on WAYO) returning as host.
The Good Highs (@alexraia1377) joined us in the WAYO studio on 11/10/2024. Triumphantly returning to host is Josh Morris of Damaged Reflections (Thursdays at 7pm).
A local power trio, the band consists of Alex Raia (vocals, guitar), Jonny Cobb (vocals, bass), and Dylan Johnson (drums, and backing vocals). The Good Hights mix of all the things they love, from jangly indie-rock to bluesy country hooks.
