This two-hour Mother's Day extravaganza featured hour-opening tributes to the moms (including the host's own mother and sister), recommended artists from a hard-working stage manager (and great friend of the host) and a visit from director Maria Scipione, producer Jack Simel and actor Adriana Riano, working on the Hourglass Play Reading Series' season finale "Water by the Spoonful"; featuring music by The Police, Christopher Cross, Climax Blues Band, Savage Garden, The Bee Gees, The Cranberries, Brandi Carlile, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Rik Emmett, Crowded House, Bob Seger, George Michael, Bruce Springsteen, Frank Zappa and Moon Unit Zappa, Imagine Dragons, The Clash, Johnny Hates Jazz, Breathe, The Postal Service, Peter Gabriel and Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young.
